Gavin Steier - Programmer
I learned quite a lot while working on this project. I think the biggest thing I learned was the process of making a game while working with a large group. I learned plenty of communication skills that helped both me and my team understand what is going on. I also learned some new technical skills such as making an interface and applying said interface to make cool things such as explosive barrels.
The thing I found most surprising about the project is how well we all came together with our different specialties to make something cool. I really like seeing people putting their best skills forward and ending up with something awesome.
What I feel is my greatest achievement during this project was attempting new things and learning along the way. I tried a couple different things when making my explosive barrels and learned many ways to do it. I also attempted to tackle knockback on the barrels as well, but that did not end up successful. Either way, I definitely learned a lot from my failure and I am glad to take away from it what I did.
I was responsible for the Damage Interface, the Beam Skill, the Crosshair interaction, and the Explosive Barrels.
