Design Team Devlog 4


Bodie- This week I spent a majority of my time again going between other team members, making sure there was proper communication and understanding around the project, and writing a tech document for Coding. I also made a short list of future tasks.

Beck- Over the course of this week, I have spent many hours attempting to implement the patrolling AI guard and dog into the dungeon level to prep for the art pass. Unfortunately, something was going wrong, I was unable to complete the total integration of the guard. However, I was able to plot out their patrol paths and went ahead and gave the go ahead for an art pass while we figured out the coding issue. While I was waiting for coding to work on the issue, I made the top-down map for the dungeon with a legend and a planned path for how the player is to traverse the dungeon to succeed.  

Mateo- Updated floor 2 to better match gameplay and added labels to the floor. Created the first block out of the princes quarters

Patricio- I have finish the blocking this week. I add some windows. I have add text to identify all the furniture, reduce the side of the main hall and add the outside structure.

Riley- This week I made this document about player path that includes dialog about each level, additionally I added the AI given to my by Programing team. I additionally, help communications between design and art team due to a handful of unclear instruction, a large portion of which i take responsibility for.  

William- As requested by the Design Lead, I looked over what currently exists for the first floor of the castle, and talked with members of the art team about potential changes to the level design. The Art Lead has requested that we wait until Monday to go over things more, so my conversations will have to continue into tomorrow.

Purple- Awaiting information.
