Art Team Devlog 5

Aaron’s Work:

Added Lights, removed the sky lights, and added half the bottles back into the storage room. The sleeping guard is back, and the wine storage is back as well. I also added candles to the scene. I still need to adjust and clean up the lights as well as add a few props to the scene.

Christian’s Work:

My work this week consisted of making sure people were beginning to experiment with lighting in their assigned maps, as well as ensuring that it was only lighting work being done and not more art passing. I then reviewed the work that was done by some of them and gave them some feedback on where I thought the work could be improved. I also began filling out the tasks list for the art team on the game leads sheet. Other than that, not a whole lot of work for me.

Elian’s Work:

Added some simple lighting, changed the sky to a night sky, added a block above the level to get a darker view of the area, also added a lot of lighting to the library area, and made a simple candle with a material that works pretty well on just a normal sphere object. Also made a video showcasing all of it.

Elijah’s Work:

Added the basic lighting to the ballroom, servants’ quarters, and throne room on the first floor.

Jacklynn’s Work: I finished up (hopefully!) all the UI assets needed for the game, moving on to working on the prince’s room next week. Here are all the ui assets to date, with some inconsistencies fixed.
