Game Design 3 Art Team Devlog 7
Aaron’s Work:
Overhauled the lights in the dungeon using the light complexity function of Unreal Engine to set the lights to blue and green intensities. Moved lights around to compensate and edited the environmental lights to match.
Aidan’s Work:
Overhauled chapel. Added many more lights, finished all rooms, and placed pots as placeholders for the actual interactable pots.
Christian’s Work:
I did not do much work this week because I was in a bit of a depressive state. I did manage to expand on the lists of throwable objects, writing down what objects are available on the second floor, in the prince’s room, and in the dungeon. I will get to the chapel tomorrow. The following screenshots are of the lists of throwable items that I made.
Elian’s Work:
Added lighting to the second level and created a candle VFX to go for smaller light objects around the map. I mainly just focused on lighting this week and tried to make the area believable for a night level, being dark in some areas but also bright enough to let the player see and traverse around the level.
Elijah’s Work:
For my work this week, I updated the color of the lighting to the throne, and ball room and added a ceiling to the throne, ballroom, and servant’s room. I also added the broken window to the throne room. Proof: https://imgur.com/a/GG2c71S

Kyra’s Work:
Pictures: Added open market, moved the orchard, and added grass foliage around the map. Added more small things to fill in empty spots.
Lu’s Work:
This week, I continued working on finishing the first-floor lighting. I replaced all the electric lights in the scene with candle stands and torches. I also added VFX and either point lights or area lights to all chandeliers and candle holders. Based on feedback, I updated the entire lighting setup in the area I’m responsible for. Other stuff: added a staircase leading to the basement, created a ceiling, and updated some layout.
