Sound Devlog - Sprint 1, Week 1


For the time, I have been working independently as the sole sound designer for Parasite Zero.

In the first sprint, I focused on developing a document to keep track of sounds that need to be implemented in the game, including a list of one-shots, as well as notes for ambience, voice acting, and music. The document also specifies how sounds will be imported into the project and how they should be used. 

I also created a sound for the "echo lure" ability in the game.

The next steps I gave myself were to implement the echo lure sound into the project and produce more sounds for different mechanics in-game. Specifically, the grappling hook, footsteps, and ambience, because those will be the easiest implement soon.
