Art Team Devlog - Sprint 2, Week 2


This devlog serves as a record of the art team's focus for Sprint 1, Sept. 22nd-29th. The team is working on separate pieces with the goal of bringing it all together to create a good looking game! Below are all the individual devlogs from each member of the art team.

PARKER:

  • Set Dressing
    • Large majority of floor and walls complete
    • Started large and medium prop set dressing
    • Adjusted pipe asset to playtesting comments
      • Moved position and changed collision

  • Added most solid wall colors
  • Added pipes and decor in small drainage room




ANNASTACHIA:
I worked on the art pass of menus for this part of the sprint. I updated the HUD’s images to the ones that I made. (the images on the right side) I made a lock image that goes over until the player get the item unlocked. And I made a new Icon for wallclimbing.

AALANI:
This week I worked on set dressing in the Puzzle room and the wall climbing segment area. Mostly just adding the materials to the room, I want to continue adding more assets in the wall area once I get approval with what I have



KYLAR:

This week I was tasked with working on set dressing for the Power A room of the level. I finished the majority of my walls and floors, there’s still a few more tweaks I want to make to the walls. I couldn’t place a lot of assets but I tried to make the more lit up areas more detailed.
