Parasite Zero - Programming Check-in 4


Dameron:

This week, I polished up the enemies. I specifically focused on what the designers needed from the enemies to make sure that their blockout was completable:

Thomas:

This week I added an options menu that allowed the player to adjust graphic settings, fixed some issues with the echo lure, and made the base for an interactable notes system that will get fleshed out in the future. Next up I might try to add volume and music settings to the options menu and fix an issue that some playtesters noted with the biolock door’s widget not always triggering properly.

Owen:

Added logic for stealth kills.

Derek:

Added enhanced inputs and keybindings to all current player inputs for both keyboard/mouse and controller.

Crosshair highlights when player can grapple stuff. Updated grapple code to be a lot simpler and works on enemies.

Fixed bug with interacting with vibration puzzle

Alex:

Working on Character Wall Climbing as well as turning the player character into a new player character that will allow the player to be able to climb walls. (currently I believe that the Sandbox Character movement may be interfering with the movement code of the character I added). Added a whole new character to work on and it is currently not moving (enhanced inputs are not being read). Moved all the code from the AC_WallClimbing into both characters I am currently working on.
